Biography
Frank Fitzpatrick is a multi-platinum selling record producer; a Grammy-nominated songwriter; classically trained composer; and an award-winning filmmaker; He is able to bring a rare expertise and tremendous range to the creative collaboration required for a successful soundtrack. Having worked on countless film, television and music productions campaigns around the globe, he has proven himself to be a creative visionary and tireless force for transforming the human spirit through the power of music and film. Fitzpatrick has created platinum selling original soundtracks by integrating popular songwriting, traditional scoring techniques, cutting edge production, and international collaborations with artists and musicians across multiple cultures and genres. His work has contributed to well over a billion dollars in box office revenues, multiple awards, and the sale of over six million albums.
In addition to his Hollywood successes like Friday, Queen of the Damned, Pirates of Silicon Valley, Jump In!, the Larry Sanders Show and Miramax"s billion-dollar Scary Movie franchise, Detroit-born Fitzpatrick has written songs and recorded albums/produced live events for dozens of world-class artists. These musical legends include Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, K’Naan, KRS-One and Ziggy Marley. He has learned from some of the best in Hollywood filmmaking, including his mentor - composer Georges Delerue, and directors such as Brian De Palma, Jonathan Lynn, and Francis Ford Coppola.

Fitzpatrick’s first contribution as a filmmaker, Jungle Jazz: Public Enemy #1, won the prestigious Silver Bear Award for Best Short at the Berlin Film Festival, and his original multi-media opening to the Shanghai International Film Festival broadcast to over 200 million people on Chinese national television.
Whether for a Hollywood blockbuster, a documentary or a campaign for the UN through his organization EarthTones.org, Fitzpatrick embraces music and film as primary drivers, both to build successful entertainment experiences, and to help us shape the perceptions, attitudes and relationships necessary to create a more harmonious future for the planet.
