Biography

Hélène Muddiman is a multi-award winning composer, Multiple hit songwriter and published poet. Hélène has written and produced many films and TV projects including the full score and songs to the Multi-Award winning SKIN with Director Anthony Fabian and BLiSS! with Rita Osei! Hélène also wrote all the score and the theme to the Cartoon Network series The Cramp Twins and wrote additional music for John Powell on the score for Happy Feet Two and Ice Age 4 and Danny Elfman on the score for Tim Burton's Disney movie Frankenweenie. As an artist, Hélène was signed to EMI Records and Music Publishing at the age of 18. She is now signed to Sony/ATV. She is classically trained and plays a range of instruments including guitar, bass, keyboards and piano. Her singing has featured on many of Hans Zimmer's film scores and several pieces for television, and various hits for other artists.

She has 2 albums for EMI through KPM produced by Harry Gregson-Williams and has written 2 top 5 hits, including the title track from the Gold selling album "FREE ME" by The Spice Girls' Emma Bunton. Other alternative media include songs for the Metabook entitled "I'll Be There" and poems in the book of poems entitled "Remapping the Territory".

Hélène is a passionate advocate for creators rights and Intellectual Property. She started her activism as the founder and CEO of the 501c3 charity Hollywood Elite Music & Media and as a founding member of SONA (Songwriters of North America) and board member of The SCL (The Society of Composers and Lyricists).
